Malachi 4:2-3

But to you who fear My name  

The Sun of Righteousness shall arise  

With healing in His wings.  

And you shall go out  

And grow fat like stall-fed calves. 

You shall trample the wicked,  

For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet. 

 

Deuteronomy 15:4-5 NIV

[4] However, there need be no poor people among you, 

for in the land the Lord your God is giving you to possess as your inheritance,

 he will richly bless you, [5] if only you fully obey the Lord your God 

and are careful to follow all these commands I am giving you today.

 

Matthew 5:3-12 The Beatitudes

For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

For they shall be comforted.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,

For they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart,

For they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,

For they shall be called sons of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,

For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and 

say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 

Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven,

for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you."
